Ok, so where do I start? Im not a writer and never thought I would create a blog, but I have recently decided to plan a trip to travel around South America for 12 months and thought this would be the best way for me to keep my friends and family up to date with where I am and what I'm doing... For those of you who don't know me I am a 33 year old South African. I was born and bred in Cape Town (which will always be home!) and have been fortunate enough to have lived in London for a few years and Shanghai for a few months. I love sports and try to watch as much as I can. Having the Fifa World Cup in SA in 2010 was probably one of the most amazing experiences in my life. Seeing how everyone in the country came together and the unbelievable gees (atmosphere) that took over the country was amazing to be caught up in.
