When I got up I tried to sort out my bus ticket back to Mexico City which proved to be rather difficult as the busses online didn't accept my credit card for some reason. Eventually I called them and the one was sold out but the other had space but will only accept reservations in their office (an hour away). I decided I would head there early to get a ticket. Let's hope there are still tickets when I get there.

I met up with Michelle (a Canadian girl from the hostel) and we went to the beach together. We went to a restaurant called Alas Blancas for some aguachile. It's a dish that Olivier recommended and is similar to a ceviche but has mango, scallops and shrimp in it. It was great but got a little spicy towards the end. Michelle and I continued chatting and enjoying some beer and meeting some more Canadians who were sitting next to us.

The beach was packed which made it feel overcrowded but then it is that holiday time of the year. When we left we grabbed some tacos to enjoy at the hostel where we said our farewells and I made my way to the bus stop to get to Puerto Vallarta.

This bus took longer than expected due to traffic and plenty of stops but we got to the bus stop where the driver told me it's the stop for the bus terminal. Knowing that I was later than I wanted to be to ensure that I got a ticket I rushed to the bus station and went to the counter that I know had a bus leaving soon. I managed to get the last ticket (phew) on the next bus which left in 10 minutes. I got my things together and jumped on the bus and the price tag was explained. I had plenty of leg room, WiFi, power point but I still haven't found that illusive bus with the open bar!
