I
was up early in the morning and immediately got going with painting the bed I
have been working on. Even though it was still so early the heat was crazy and
I was sweating without moving much at all.

It
didn't take long to get the first coat on and then took a drive to get some
turps and find the fridge repair man who was not home and would only be back
later. While driving I noticed the amount of fishermen on the beach. It really
seems like this place functions according to the tide.

When
I got back I had my first beer of the day before jumping in Rocky to take Chris
home and go to the other end of town to get some cheap rum. We then had a swim
in the ocean as the tide was low and we were able to get onto the beach.

Lunch
was another menu of the day at the hotel before heading to bed for a nap. It
was a little hot so the nap didn't work out so I made my way to Chris and Kim's
place where I joined Pedro and Izabel in the pool and for a few beers. I even
managed to find a hammock where I read for a while before we all made our way
back to the hostel.

Here
we tucked into the rum just after sunset while we prepared dinner which was
braaied fish with salad and rice (with a few grilled peppers). Dinner went down
a treat and I had a drink or two more before going to bed and reading while.
