It was a slow morning but I was awake early to read. We took it easy and had breakfast at the hostel and chatted a bit before we went in search of juice box rum to get as a gift for some of Liz’s friends. We finished packing before we found some street food which after a few drinks didn’t taste so good so we decided not to finish it.

We grabbed a cab to the airport but I was a bit early for my flight so I couldn’t check-in yet but Liz could. After a bit of a hiccup we managed to get her checked in and we went in search of our last beer together for a while. It was a great 10 days together and it was awesome. Definitely a great travel buddy and I’m excited about the Africa trip plans that we will continue to make.

When Liz left I had a few more beers before I checked in. I think I was a little early for this flight as I now have to wait 3 more hours for the flight. I read while waiting and it was eventually time to board. Fortunately it was a longinsh flight so I could try get some sleep but that didn’t work very well.

In Mexico airport I struggled through customs and security with the long lines before I found some very slow wifi to catch up with the world that I had missed for the past few months. I didn’t manage to find a comfortable place to sleep so tried my best but didn’t get much.
