I
woke up at about 10 and went to the bar for breakfast only to realise that for
the first time in my trip I had forgotten to take my photo of the day the
previous day!! I tried to duplicate it so started the day with a baby Guinness
(kalua and baileys shot) before chatting and catching up with the staff. After
a while I went to my room to pack and shower before checking out and making my
way to my next hostel where I get to meet gills!!

I
sat catching up on some WiFi before hearing a little knock on the door. I
opened it only to see Gills standing there. I quickly grabbed her and hugged
her before realising that the tour guide was standing there waiting to chat to
us. I put Gills down and brought her bags inside before making our way down to
chat to the tour guide.

He
gave us a brief of how the week was going to go. We then made our way to Plaza
de Armas and had a look at a few bars to find out who was showing the rugby in
the morning. We found some super rugby but unfortunately it not the Stormer’s
game... But it's rugby!!!

We
then took a walk across the square to grab a drink (technically not the first
drink of the day but the earlier one was for yesterday's shot). We sat chatting
and catching up before heading back to the hostel for our briefing on the inca
trail. We carried on chatting before heading out in search of dinner and found
a little cafe with a menu of the day which was soup and trout.

We
then went back to Plaza de Armas for another drink overlooking the square.
Unfortunately the bar was closing so we took our beers to a bench on the plaza
and caught up some more. After our toes started freezing we decided to get
walking and made our way back to the hostel for an early night before an early
start for rugby.
