After
a little sleep on the bus we got in just after 5 and grabbed a cab to our
hostels. Fortunately we were able to check in and I grabbed some internet
before making our way to Jack’s Cafe for breakfast. It was awesome, the first
full English breakfast I have had in 3 months!

From
there Tina and I returned to our hostel for a shower and some clean clothes
before making our way to the walking tour. We couldn't find the green vested
guys so ended up with the red t-shirt guys. It took a while to start as the
group needed to be split.

All
the churches are ex-incan palaces that were torn down and rebuild as churches
to assist in converting the locals into Christians. It has worked but some
Quechua traditions are still practiced. From here we walked around some more
before making our way up a hill to have an overview of the city. To top it off
we also had some Pisco and Sprite.

On
the way down to get some food we stopped at the hostel to try find Rebecca but
no luck so we continued to San Pedro market for some local cheap food. We all
had asado and chips which was huge considering the price.

After
lunch we went to Nortons on the square to have a beer and do some people
watching before returning to the hostel. At the hostel I ended up sitting in
the bar chatting to a few friends before Rebecca walked in! I ran to her and
picked her up (as I do for big hugs). I was so excited just to see her and
catch up. After some catch up and many drinks we closed the bar and made our
way to temple club but before we went inside we found a little rasta shop open
where we spent the evening chatting in Spanish and playing drums with the
owner. Eventually we decided to go to the club but it was crazy smokey inside
so we went back to the hostel instead.
