It
was another morning shift for me and actually a relatively busy one. But once
it finished I took a walk down the beach road to see what damage the waves had
caused. In one direction there was some water and sand in the road but when I
went in the other direction there was sand, water and even stones in the road.
The force of the waves had even eaten away at the pavement.
After
investigating all the damage I made my any back to my hostel. Here I joined
some guests for some beer before making my way to Casa Amelia. Here we had a
few beers before a pot luck dinner where all the dishes were amazing. After
dinner we said our farewells to Thomas and Ruth before we made our way to Jan
Pix to watch the boxing on the big screen.
The
bar was packed and we were lucky to get a seat. We grabbed some drinks and
settled in to watch the match. It was my first time watching a full boxing
match and was actually a little boring for it being such a big event. After the
match we had a few more drinks before heading to Mamacha for another party and
ended up sitting at the beach watching the waves chatting to some people until
about 7 before calling it a night.
