In the bus to Guatemala City I slept the whole way and the short trip was over before I knew it. We changed busses in the city and I practically froze due to the aircon! I put everything I could find on me and even used my flag as a blanket! They eventually turned the aircon off and I got some more sleep and woke up when we got to the border. It was a simple crossing with the usual money changing guys running all over giving bad exchange rates.

In Honduras I slept some more before we stopped in Copan to pick up some more passengers. I continued to sleep and look out the window and the main thing that I noticed was how dry it looked compared to Guatemala.

The bus ride continued with a few stops and plenty of reading, conversation and naps. When we got to La Ceiba there were flooded roads and very foggy cab windows but we made it to the hostel. Here we checked in and got some food and beer before catching up on some internet before getting an early night.

We hope to get the ferry to Utila in the morning but with the storm that is coming in so we are hoping that the ferry is running in the morning.
