When I got up and out of my room I was struck by an amazing view. I took a walk towards the river where I could appreciate the fog in the valley, emerald water with a few rocks pointing out of it and a yellow bridge. I sat and enjoyed the view for a while before getting some breakfast where some of the friends from last night joined us. We chatted for a while as more people arrived and we made plans for the day.

We started off with a walk to the mirador which was very steep and had plenty of steps. It was awesome walking through the jungle but it was just rather warm. When we hit the mirador the view was amazing. We could see the pools and the river. There were several pools with clear water and little rock walls separating the pools with plants growing on them. It was one of the most spectacular things I have seen.

We made our way down to see the river and pools and were amazed yet again. The river actually runs through a cave under the pools with a few small waterfalls feeding it. We dropped our stuff and went for a swim making our way from pool to pool by jumping off some rocks. When in the pools and looking down the valley they appear to be natural infinity pools and provide some spectacular scenery. It was truly magnificent just being here and experiencing nature's beauty. We met up with a few people that we met on the bus and joined them for some rum in their hammocks before making our way back the hostel grabbing some street food along the way.

We all went to the bridge for a few jumps and beers before trying to find some tubes to do some tubing. We tubed down the river with a few beers going through multiple rapids and hitting my butt on rocks way too many times! We enjoyed the sunset from the tubes on the river and shortly afterwards found Utopia hostel where we paddled to shore and made our way to the hostel.

Here we met up with our friends from the pools and enjoyed some drinks and games before trying to catch a shuttle back to the hostel. Unfortunately there were no shuttles so we had to walk which was actually great fun. Gerrard, Kate, Ryan and I followed the road and enjoyed the surrounding jungle and odd house by the moon light. Within an hour we crossed the yellow bridge and were back at the hostel. I ordered some food and drinks and headed for a cold shower before meeting up with more friends.

We danced into the night before heading to bed to catch another early bus.
