We
arrived later than scheduled after driving through some heavy mist but it was
still early in the morning. Fortunately we were able to check in and have some
breakfast (even though there was no electricity). After a while we were able to
put our bags in our room and Tina could try to get some sleep as she was not
feeling very well.

From
the hostel I went to Wild Rover for the rugby (Ireland vs Scotland and then
England vs France). Needless to say that the beers started flowing early and I
even had a fry up for a second breakfast.

After
the game we went to Plaza de Armas to meet up with the free walking tour but
the guy spoke very softly so it was difficult to understand what he was saying.
After the tour we booked a trip to Colca Canyon. Unfortunately a portion of the
trail was closed for the 2 day trek through the canyon due to some recent
earthquakes.

Once
the tour was booked we went to join some people we met on the tour for crepes
before returning to the Wild Rover for some beers and rum before calling it a
night when the bar closed at 3am.
