We
finally got to sleep late and enjoy a sleep in. Only got up at 11 to pack and
move to wild rover to get the t-shirt (these can be bought for 15 soles but we
had to earn them).

Once
here we had some lunch before meeting up with Alex and Emma. I left them and
went to look for a Gopro which I got for slightly more than I planned but the
price difference was better than me looking more.

I
went back to the hostel where we all met up again before making our way to the
monastery. The monastery was built in the 1600's and was for affluent families
to send their 2nd daughter for a dowry. The monastery has multiple little
courtyards and houses for the nuns. The nuns were not allowed contact with the
outside world and if they spoke to their families it was through a fence like
window that didn't allow them to even touch each other. In about 1970 the
monastery had financial difficulties as not many people wanted to be nuns and
they opened it to tourists to raise funds instead of demolishing it.

After
the monastery we all went to dinner at an Argentinian restaurant where we ate
some great steak and had some good wine. After dinner we headed back to Wild
Rover bar for happy hour which ended in a few drinking games and closing the
bar again.
