I
woke up rather early and did some reading in bed before making my way to a
hammock on the beach to continue reading. It was rather overcast so there was
no sun (which may be a good thing) so I lay in the hammock enjoying the last
few pages of my book and the sounds of the ocean. Every now and then I would
have a look up to watch some people in the distance or a surfer catch a wave.
The water is warm but not very inviting to try go surf... Maybe tomorrow?

The
hammock was made out of a net and I was starting to get a little uncomfortable
so I returned to my room and did some washing in the bathroom sink before
picking up another book and getting started but before long I found myself
having a nap. I woke up at around 1pm and took a walk outside to see how the
waves were. They looked good but, me on the other hand, am way too lazy.
Instead I went to the kitchen and chatted to Sarah and Kathrin.

I
then decided to take a walk along the beach and ended up hitting the end so
turned around. I then took a swim in front of the hostel and was joined by Kathrin.
We swam for a while before I decided it was time for more hammock and reading
so I made my way to my room and grabbed my book and sarong in the hope of
making the hammock more comfortable. I made my way back to the beach and the
hammock and carefully laid the sarong inside the hammock for me to lie on.
Woohoo, it worked! Once in I continued reading my book while looking up every
now and then at the waves and scenery. I was getting a little hungry so joined
Sarah and Kathrin inside for some leftover wraps from last night.

After
the late lunch we found a spot on the beach to wish their friend a happy
birthday with me singing and them as my back up dancers. This all made for an
amusing video. On our way back we were met my Kristin and we all took a walk to
find a bar for a few beers before dinner. We enjoyed a few chats and beers
before Mya joined us and we chatted some more.

Sarah, Kathrin and I had to leave to join Sami
for dinner as we were already late but fortunately the hostel was only a 2
minute walk away. When we arrived dinner was ready and we had some homemade
humus, salad and what I can only describe as a potato bake with mushrooms and
homemade chorizo. It all went down very well and we were all stuffed. We
carried on talking in English, Spanish and German (not that I understood all of
it) before we called it a night.
