The
day got off to a lazy start and ended up in the hammock and having a long skype
with Damien after deciding to stay here an extra few days. We discussed travel
plans and the possibility that he will join me in Galapogas but he will only
know in a few days so I will enjoy the beach life until then.
I
then created myself a Workaway profile so I can find somewhere to kill some
time if I have to wait for him or later in my trip to make it to carnival in
Brazil.
Romain
and I then made out way to a bar to watch the Champions League final and have
some lunch. The food was a little disappointing but the game was entertaining
with Barcelona claiming victory. During the game Sarah and Charlotte joined us
and after the game we took a walk to grab an ice cream effort heading to the
hostel for a nap and Charlotte and Romain made their way to a job in the
jungle.
When
we got up I looked at options for some work in the area while Sarah played with
her pictures. We then went in search of some dinner but found most of the
places closed. We were in search of an encocada (coconut based sauce) and
eventually found a place that was still serving food and had the yummy
encocada. We sat down and enjoyed our last dinner together before finding an
ice cream for dessert.
Back
at the hostel we sat chatting and reading before I headed to bed and read some
more before calling it a night.
