What a sleepy slow morning. It got going after about 2 hours of sleep and all went well until I got to the airport. Here I hit another long line and by the time I got to the front my flight was about to board but I had to wait as staff changed shift and other passengers jumped in front of me (even though they had the same destination). I eventually got my bag checked in and got through security (which had no line) and got to the boarding gate as it opened. I got on the flight and got some sleep immediately.

The flight was only an hour and before I knew it we were landing. I grabbed my bags and a taxi and headed for the hostel. I had to give the driver some directions but we got there in the end. I then rang the doorbell to be greeted by Manuel who I had clearly woken up. They seemed flustered when I arrived even though the place was empty but I think they must have had a party last night and feeling the effects this morning.

I climbed into bed and had another few hours sleep before taking a walk into the centre to have a look around. There wasn't much activity along the way but when I got into the centre there were people all over, music playing and markets open. I walked around a bit but there wasn't much to see so I carried on walking to the Chepe train station all the while being blown around by the wind. I got there to find that it was closed so I had a chat to the security guard before continuing my search for a pub like place for a beer. I didn't find one until I was 5 min from my hostel (which is convenient) where I grabbed a couple of beers before heading back to the hostel. When I got there I decided to have another nap before meeting one of my roommates. We chatted a while before I made my way back to the pub (which was a lot more lively) for something to eat and obviously more beer.

After a few beers and something to eat I made my way back to the hostel. It was now really cold! There was frost on the cars and sleet or snow was falling on me (I didn't take the time to stop and look as I wasn't dressed for this kind of weather). Once back in the warmth of the hostel I packed my bags and got ready for an early start in the morning.
