The
late night and was not good for my flu which didn't let me sleep due to all my
coughing. Eventually after a few naps and keeping the dorm awake I got up at 10
but couldn't eat breakfast (it was only bread and jam after all). I sat
chatting to Sandra and Tina for a while before heading back to bed for some
more sleep. This time I managed to find a break in the coughing and could get
some sleep and woke up feeling much better and a little hungry so went and got
a pesto pasta at the hostel bar. I tried to do some blogging but the internet
was too slow so gave up.

I
ended up going back to the room to read a little but actually fell asleep for a
while. When I woke up I decided I should get up and go back to the bar where I
met Sandra and Tina who had booked my Death Road trip for me. We spent the
evening chilling at the bar meeting various people and eventually I decided to
have my drink of the day which actually made me feel much better (why didn’t I
try this earlier). Rowan, David and Sebastian then joined us for a drink before
they went to dinner at a local place up the road.

I
managed to book some accommodation in Copacabana and Puno... Now just to sort
out the buses! I took it easy at the bar with a few more beers before getting
an early night before cycling the Death Road in the morning.
