I
woke up early but at least I managed to get a second sleep before getting up
and enjoying a hot shower and great breakfast. The breakfast was great and so
different from the bread and jam that I am used to. There were all sorts of
fruits, fresh bread, homemade jams and even pancakes! This is probably one of
the best hostels I have been in!

After
breakfast I had a walk around a little before booking a 3 hour Spanish lesson
for tomorrow morning and then headed back to the hostel for a little chill
before meeting up with Sandra to take a walk around the town.

I'm
feeling a little better except that my sinuses are still gummy but at least I
can breathe when I walk but then again I am at a lower altitude so I am still
not sure. I went to Sandra's hostel and from there we walked with a German girl
from her hostel to get a coffee and then headed to the market where I found
super cheap fruit, vegetables, meat, etc. Its an awesome place and I see myself
coming here for lunch a few times. We left the market and kept walking around
and found some stairs that gave us a view of the city. Its such a pretty little
town with all the white buildings and terracotta roofs.

Michelle
and the German left so Sandra and I kept walking around and we got some more
street food. I tried some grilled meat with a salad and coke. The meat was
sliced very thin and was rather salty but the strangest thing was the flavor of
the Coke. I cant put my finger on it but it tasted different somehow, maybe it
was that there was no brandy or rum in it :)

We
Kept walking before looking for a beer which we eventually got after looking
everywhere for a supermarket (which was in a street which we had been in about
4 times already). From there we went to the central square to enjoy the beer in
the sun and chatted some more. After the beer we parted ways and I went to get
my hair cut.

At
first I walked in the wrong direction but eventually made my way to the barber.
I sat waiting for a whole but eventually it was my turn so I sat down very
nervously and told him to cut it a number 1 all over. He had really old school
equipment and before he started he took the blades over a flame which was a
little unusual but good I suppose. Eventually he started and I said goodbye to
what little hair I had. There was no stopping now as I had a large (new) bald
spot on my head. He repeated the shave a number of times to ensure it was clean
and even before he pulled out the razor blade.

I
then made my way back to the hostel where I had a shower before going to grab
something to eat at the bar. At the bar I met Kirsty (Scottish girl) who I met
in el Chalten and got chatting to her and her friend from Australia before
Sandra arrived and joined us.

We
enjoyed a few 2 for mojitos before calling it a night. I'm excited for my
Spanish lessons tomorrow but also a little scared...
