For
some reason I couldn't sleep late so got up and took my washing to the laundry
which, just for today, only opened late. I sat at the hostel waiting for tour
to collect me but we’re on Argentina time so knew that I would have to wait for
a little while. I eventually got picked up and we were on our way (after a few
more pick ups).

At
the First stop we went around the farm to see the various cement vessels and
then went into a quaint tasting room where we had a chardonnay (not that great)
before a few reds (Shiraz and Merlot) . From there went to an olive plant and
did some tastings of olive oil (obviously my favorite was the garlic one) and
we also tried a few tapenades. From here we went to another wine farm but they
mainly had sweet wines so drank them bit wasn't very impressed with them.

We
then made our way for lunch which was ricotta ravioli with tomato steak sauce.
Not my favorite but was at least tasty. Our next stop was another wine farm
that took us on a tour into their cellar and told us about some of their
techniques before we got to enjoy some of their wines while overlooking the
vineyards. The wine was ok, but the first farm was still the best.

We
then jumped back in the bus and went to Luján to the artisan marmalade place we
missed yesterday on our bike tour. They also make various liquors and tried
some chocolate and mint liquor and a dolce de leche liquor both were good but
very sweet and chocolate tasted like the mint was fake. The best was melón and
Chile which had hard Chile after bite.

We
then jumped back in the van and we're off home and I finally got some more
sleep. At the hostel I sorted out my laundry only to get into a long spanglish
conversation with the guy at the laundry... It was good and actually rather
funny.

I
then returned to the hostel where I enjoyed another quick siesta before
grabbing some WiFi before hearing a Canadian hello and found the Canadians at
reception.

We said a quick hello before they got settled in
and then made our way to Antares for some beer, food and a catch-up with Cheryl
and Rowan. The American girls from wine tour also joined us and we enjoyed a
few more beers before we decided to call it a night and went back to hostel at
about 3 (finally got some people in my dorm n its the Canadians!)
