I
was awake early as usual (I really need to get out of this habit) and did some
research on Mexico. Olivier sent me an awesome itinerary for the first few weeks
for me to get from Mexico City to Cancún which I will probably follow and
hopefully meet Rowan along the way.

I
sat and charged some of my things and started packing before grabbing some wine
and enjoying the newly installed rain shower. I then continued enjoying the
wine and chatting.

After
a few wines we switched to beer and enjoyed some prawn ceviche before we
enjoyed more beer and conversation. At this rate I think I may miss my bus.
While sitting there one of the local builders got very drunk and kept asking me
to train him to be a boxer. Not sure why he thought I could train him but
fortunately I am leaving today so not going to be asked again.

After
lunch we went to Chris and Kim's place for a swim and very soon after the kids
arrived and all hell broke loose. We then returned to the cabañas where I
showered and did the last of my packing. Stu arrived with our bus tickets and
joined us for a sunset beer before we all made our way to Meier's for dinner
before leaving to catch our bus. Kim got us a cab so we could stay later and
enjoy some more drinks as a team. The cab arrived and the farewells began. It
was difficult to leave as the whole team has been great and the project has
come along so much since I got here.

Joel
and I jumped into the cab and made our way to Bahia to catch the bus. We didn't
have to wait long before we got going but we did enjoy a few rum and cokes
while we waited. On the bus we found our seats and grabbed another rum and coke
before the bus got going. The ride was very bumpy which made it hard to drink
so we managed to finish the cups and then decided to catch some sleep.

It
was a very broken sleep which is normal for busses but the ride was over much
quicker than I expected.
