I took a walk down the beach (if you can call it that) to see the town by day and not much was different to what I saw the night before. I walked past the airport with its parking area full of golf carts. I then made my way back to the hostel where I updated my blog some more before meeting up with John again to go grab some lunch.

We went to a little local place just around the corner from my hostel and it was ok, but not that tasty. I then grabbed a quick beer before we said our farewells and I headed off to go snorkeling. I had to wait a bit so I grabbed another beer and a few more for the boat.

The snorkeling was awesome. We had 2 dives in the same Park. At the first one we saw some turtles before moving over to the reef where we saw an eel, a nurse shark, a spotted eagle ray and plenty of funky coloured fish. The swim was about an hour and the waster was so calm except for the wind that was blowing all day. We returned to the boat and headed to the second spot called shark and ray alley. The name is a lot more ominous than the marine life with both the rays and sharks being harmless to us. We swam with them for a while and even saw another spotted eagle ray before we called it a day and enjoyed the boat ride back to the island.

At the hostel I showered and had some beer where I met some fellow guests and we decided to head over to the chicken drop. This was an unforgettable experience with us shouting and screaming at the poor chicken to try and get him to shit on our numbers. We had to buy the number but if the chicken shits on your number you win all the money for that round. It was a fun night but my voice didn't enjoy it much. The chicken drop was only a few hours so when it ended we headed off to find another bar. The only one that we could hear was just around the corner where we went to enjoy some karaoke and giant jenga. This was more fun and again, not very good for my voice. We also closed this place but then were stuck. We tried the clubs but they were dead so just got some drinks and went walking. We dropped Jenna at her friend’s house and Adam and I made our way to the hostel where we met some other guests who were still up. I decided to call it a night and made my way to bed.
