I got a slow start to the day with updating my blog a bit before going to find some food. I took a walk a couple of blocks from the hostel and found a place called Café Cortao which was bustling with locals so went in and sat at the coffee bar and ordered some food and drinks. While sitting the place got busier and busier with a waiting list growing and a guy walking around playing guitar and singing to all the tables. The food was awesome again. Not entirely sure what it all was but I really enjoyed it.

I returned to the hostel to update my blog some more before taking a walk to the other place that Dani recommended for a drink and to read a little on the rooftop. I started a new book called Marching Powder. It's so good to be reading again and I'm surprised that I have actually missed reading. While at the restaurant I had a couple of beers and some enchiladas putosinas which were ok but I gave definitely had better food.

I headed back to the hostel for a nap and to read some more. When I got up I carried on reading before making my way to see the city by night and watch the Christmas lights on the church in Plaza de Carmen. The plaza was full and people were loving the entertainment and I have to agree the lighting on the church was pretty cool. I then made my way to Plaza de Armas and around some of the streets that also had Christmas lights up. They definitely do go all out and it does look pretty at night.

Back at the hostel I chatted to some of the guests a bit before getting back to my book.
