We
were up early to grab some breakfast before the car arrived but a we were not
up early enough. As our food arrived so did Jordan delivering the Ferrari
California. Damien went to meet him and he was like a kid at Christmas. He left
his food and took it for a test drive while I ate and eased my way into the day
trying to hold myself back from joining him.

Once
we had both finished our breakfast we grabbed our bags and headed to the car to
take it for a spin. Damien nominated himself as driver for the day and we drove
around South Beach for a while before hitting Ocean Drive. Here we stopped in
at a restaurant for a drink and got the biggest cocktail I have ever had. I am
not sure what was in it but neither Damien nor I finished it before deciding to
jump back in the car and get going to Key West.

Hearing
the grumble as the engine starts and the roar as you try accelerate slowly is
such an amazing sound and I don't think we ever got used to it. On the drive to
Key West we got a little lost leaving Miami but we managed to fund the road we
wanted. Unfortunately there was too much traffic to enjoy the power at our
disposal.

After
leaving Miami we drove a while before hitting the Keys. The bridge system here
is amazing and it’s hard to think that it's worth the expense of building them
but then you see how much money is on these islands. We drove past various
stacks of boats and caravan parks that had all sorts of toys to make their stay
more enjoyable. One of the Keys has a deer reserve and I managed to see a Bambi
as we passed.

We
arrived in Key West just before sunset and found some parking before heading to
sunset pier to watch the sunset and grab a beer. Throughout the drive we
constantly enjoyed the grumble and roar of Lina. After the sunset we made our
way to our hotel to check in and clean up before dinner. For dinner we went to
a restaurant called The Grand where we enjoyed some fish. Both of us were tired
from a long few days so decided to call it a night at about midnight and rather
enjoy the full day tomorrow.
