I woke up with the intention of having my first yoga class only to realise that I was already 15 min late so decided to stay in bed and have a little more sleep. I eventually got up at around 9 to grab some breakfast before sitting and chatting to some guests. I then made my way down into Vilcabamba to get my bus ticket to Guayaquil. I didn’t want to walk back so I crabby a cab and made my way back to the hostel.

At the hostel I found myself a chair at the pool and sat their reading in the sun for most of the day before having a quick dip in the ice cold water. I then made my way back to the room and carried on reading in a shaded hammock as I was already burning.

I had met some fellow guests during the day and we all went to the restaurant for some lunch before I found myself seeking another hammock to read (and sleep) some more. I ended up in the bird watching station again but didn't stay long as the wind picked up. I then made my way to a bench where I overlooked the valley. I sat here enjoying more of my book before getting a little cold so I got my Jersey and a beer to enjoy the sunset. Unfortunately it was very overcast so there wasn't much sunset to see but I did get to see a rainbow and a few interesting colours on the clouds.

I then made my way to the bar with some new friends for some more beers and conversation. We decided to get a bonfire going and eventually all sat around the fire chatting and exchanging travel experiences and suggestions. Before long a few decided to make their way to bed but as usual I kept going and chatting until I was the last one left so I decided to call it a night.
